I had a pokey stop that was admitted. It was in the game for the last week and then all of a sudden it disappeared yesterday. To be fair it was a gym and then the gym moved to a separate area. But now when I checked the Niantic map, it’s completely gone. I will include the name of the PokéStop and the location below. Any help would be appreciated. I am kind of assuming that it’s because of all the events that are going on right now, but would like to know a little more.

But there have been literally nobody near my poke stop that would do that? I am so confused for why.

The coordinates of the wayspot were originally in the middle of the water, which would not have safe pedestrian access.
But on a satellite map it is not on the water. I thought about that as well but it is because of an error with niantic/wayfiar map synchs. When i walk on the dedicate physical real trail path there is no pond. On pokémon go app it cuts me through the water. Which i noticed was a glitch versus starlight maps (the map i used to submit the waypoint and also in irl) versus being in pokémon go and looking at the map on game.
Often nearby people report wayspot for removal for various reason. Other people cant tell if this happen and will only realize when its gone.

The photo appears to show a pond aerator. They are not eligible as they are functional parts (infrastructure) of the pond system to keep the water aerated. They are usually rejected (or removed due to safety. You must be able to access (touch) the wayspot not just spin it from the shore. If the pin is placed on the shore, it is considered misplaced.
You are right in this version it does buy when i submitted it and through satellite view it is not and the pin location is 100% not on the actual water it is on the side like I said earlier. any way i can clarity this for them?
I know this isn’t a pleasant thing to hear but if the pin is on the shore of the pond (the side) it is misplaced. If it is correctly placed on the aerator, it is unsafe. On top of that an aerator is not a great place to exercise, socialize or explore. It’s simple not eligible no matter the placement. It was wrongly accepted and has been corrected by removal.
Please have a look at the Criteria Clarification about fountains to see what Scopely Explore have said specifically about pond aerators being not eligible.
man well that is sad. I wonder why it ended up getting accepted. It is a good place to exercise socialize 100%.. I’ve submitted a new location and it involves the outdoor grilling pavilion at the end of the picture. Hopefully that should get accepted because it fits the criteria even better than that one already did. Thank you.

A shelter/pavilion where people can sit and socialise is indeed meeting criteria so should be a good submission.
Although the area around the pond on the way to the shelter area can be an enjoyable space it is hard to pin down. Its function is nearly always to provide some green landscaping, which is ecologically sound and helps with sustainability.
However a path going through the area is usually much like a pavement along a road and not designed differently.
Each case needs to be considered on its own merits as there may be evidence that in a specific case it was designed with a different purpose.
(a lot like kids might play with the cardboard box a toy came in, but the cardboard box was not designed with the function of being an object of play)
