Wayfarer account still suspended (Ingress Player)

Dear Niantic Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I received an email from Niantic on July 6, 2023 (19:09 +0000) informing me that my Wayfarer privileges had been reinstated and that I needed to retake the quiz before resuming reviews. However, my Wayfarer access still appears to be locked, and I have been unable to review or submit Wayspots since then.

Could you please help verify whether my account permissions were fully restored or if there might have been an issue with the reinstatement process? I would be happy to provide a copy of the original email as reference if necessary.

Hi and welcome! It’s a good idea to ask to check why the reinstatement of your privileges after the 2023 ban never happened, but to set expectations I just want to make sure you know that it is not possible to submit wayspots to Wayfarer through Ingress anymore - the two companies that make these products have split and the databases have been diverged since May 2025. Ingress-only accounts should retain the possibility to access Wayfarer to see and interact with their previous nominations, though.
