Wayfarer and Review Map Error?

I was doing a review this evening and had a nomination at the red pin here:

“Goal High School”… That’s an odd name for a school… But OK… reject for K-12. I then went to report the two wayspots there.

The nomination I rejected was a cowboy mural. One of the existing wayspots is also a cowboy themed mural. A bit odd for a school, but this is Colorado… it looks corporate cheesy, too… but this is Colorado. :smiley:

The other wayspot was for Canyon West Worship Center. Worship center… at a high school?? (But this is Colorado…)

Let’s look at Google Maps directly. Oh? “Goal High School” is “Strayhorn Grill”???

It’s a shopping center! And there’s the worship center!

Edit: Wait… Last Street View is from 2019? “Just because” I did a search on “Goal High School” in Fruita

Now it’s a school… a corporate (?) “flexible online” with a “drop-in” center.

But what about those cowboy mural that started this? Perhaps the school only takes up part of this building. I’m confused, and it’s late.

This gets still more interesting? I wasn’t able to read all the signage in the street view image, especially the one sign. Now look at the Goal HS logo… and the high sign above the arch. Looks like Goal “G”?

It might be that the school is affiliated with the church / worship center… that is fairly common actually, but this would be the first time I’ve seen it in a shopping center, usually they’d be on a standalone property.

The school is some sort of “corporate” (for lack of a better word) run virtual school, that seems to have a significant student base in Colorado This appears to be one of their drop-in centers. Perhaps someone else here is more familiar with this.

It was all confusing to me when I saw it.

Not at all familiar with this set up in the USA, but my working life was in distance education​:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
It sounds as though it is more like an admin hub for the school with occasional use for tutoring? Would that be possible?
