Hi, few months ago in Warsaw we had a major purge that resulted in the disappearance of quite a few PokéStops. PokéStops that were located in occupied cells. And I know that according to the rules, of course, there can only be one PokéStop per cell (not to mention sponsored ones, etc.), but basically in every major city, situations where there are two PokéStops (or sometimes more) in a single cell occur every few dozen/hundred meters.
In Warsaw, entire gym cells were purged. (64 PokéStop cells) where, for example, a Gym cell that had 57 PokéStops had NONE for about 24 hours. And after those roughly 24 hours, instead of 57 (with a few pokestops in one cell) only 52 returned, with the number restored to 1 stop per cell. Such purges took place, for example, in cells with popular places like
Constitution Square
the Royal Łazienki Park
and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW)
And in all three of these locations, there were only a few cells that had more than one PokéStop.
However, if we look at other well-known cities in Europe, there are actually plenty of PokéStops that violate the “one stop per cell” rule. They violate it much more than the previously mentioned locations in Warsaw, yet they aren’t being removed, and I’m pretty sure they never will be. For example, the Sagrada Familia.
Hence my question.
Does Wayfarer have pretty privilages?
