Ive gotten a few accepted waypoints but they never become pokestops or gym, how is that? We really need gyms and pokestops in my area 
The most common reason is the Proximity Rules…
In short the map is cut in to “cells” and only 1 waypoint will become a Stop / Gym in each cell.
If you are happy to supply the location (Long / Lat works best) and maybe a couple of Titles from the ones you got accepted we can take a look for you.

These L14 cells are full of gyms. You can’t get any more gyms here through Wayfarer. Only sponsored gyms could be added.

These smaller cells (S2 L17) are grouped in to larger (S2 L14) cells. The L14 cells determine how many will become Gyms.
There are 64 L17 cells in each L14 cells and you have about 35 occupied cells. That is quite saturated.
I don’t get it, because there are plenty of areas with like 3 gyms within a very small area, how does that work then? Also how do i make sponsored gyms?

I also, um, wouldn’t call this area unplayable for lack of wayspots.
The maximum of 3 gyms (ignore Sponsored) can be anywhere in the L14 cell so you can get 3 really close but none for the rest of the cell.
You pay Niantic lots of money
You cannot make sponsored gyms. Niantic has to add those.
The L14 S2 cells are very large. If the three gyms are all in adjacent L17 S2 cells, it can seem like that area has a lot of gyms when you don’t know about the invisible lines on the map.
If you give us a location where you are seeing a cluster of gyms, we can show you the cell lines.
Just a couple of notes.
- Pokemon Go does not have a “distance” rule for stops / gyms. These can be extremely close as long as they are on opposite sides of the cell wall.
- "You can still nominate waypoints in occupied cells and they may not be “wasted”.
Your nomination may…
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).
I should also mention that these S2 cell rules are community observations.. Niantic does not acknowledge them. However, they will allow us to explain these rules to try to help with this frustration. As @SlimboyFat71 mentioned, using knowledge about S2 cells to misplace pins into empty ones is abuse Niantic will punish, so only use this information to know where to look for points of interest that would be eligible to be pokestops if that is your mission.
You can reach out to your local community ambassador to make campsite (proposal to make pokestop/gym in community gathering area) but this is outside wayfarer scope.
Yes my mission is to get a gym and atleast a pokestop as close to the “välkommen hem” pokestop, so kids here can go out without crossing roads, can you check the välkommen hem and show me Where i should go try find places? Ofclurse i would not cheat with the pin
