It can take awhile for nominations to enter voting. This one is only a few days old so be patient. If there is something else nearby currently in voting then this one will have to wait till that one gets a decision. Since it is upgraded, things should move faster. considering it is upgraded but still in queue days later, I am going to guess that you upgraded it as soon as possible, about 24 hours after submission. This means it may have gotten stuck and will continue to wait until thursday or friday before entering voting. Upgrading too early can cause nominations to wait an extra 7 days. next time only use an upgrade if the nomination has not entered voting after 3 days.
This information is incorrect. While there may be factors impacting a nomination’s ability to enter voting, there is no such thing as this one.
Are you saying, that upgrades specifically causing a wait up to 7 days is incorrect information, or that upgrades causing waits at all is incorrect information?
Asking because many community members have made the observation, that upgrades seem to make submissions go into voting days later.
This observation/information is incorrect.
I was going to post previously about this 7 day delay as it is not what I have encountered but I had no firm evidence just anecdotal so glad that staff have made it official.
I do not nominate in large numbers so I have plenty of spare “Upgrades” so I tend to add 1 at the 24 hour mark (previously added them immediately as “wasting” an appeal was not an problem).
Lucky to be in an area that is active in Wayfarer and most of my Upgraded Nominations go in to voting after 2 to 3 days then completed within the next 24 hours…
I grace period can be up to 7 days, an upgrade doesn’t cause this, it just makes it apparent when it is.
