Question I have a couple of power spots that’s in the wrong location on the map how can that be edited?
The one that is circled should be where the arrow is. When I submitted it, it was placed wrong on the map
You can use Help Chat on the Wayfarer Site to request these edits.
They may need evidence if the correct location isn’t clear on Maps.
How do I find that on the menu
Go to https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help and a text box will pop up in the lower right corner. Tap on that.
With the request being submitted will they change the ways out to a spin? Or does that depend on the cells since the part menu complex is in the middle of the s217 cell map
Not 100% sure I understand what you are asking but I will try.
Dynamax Powerspots are either…
- Part of a large import that was used from day 1 of Dynamax to give play locations.
- Accepted Wayspots that could not be used as Pokestops / Gyms and meet other criteria.
The imports will NEVER become Pokestops / Gyms.
The “Accepted Wayspots” could become Pokestops / Gyms if moved to a location that meets the Proximity Rules.
PLEASE NOTE: Never try to edit a location to get a wayspot to show in game. This is classed as Abuse and can lead to Warnings / Suspension on Wayfarer and GAMES accounts. Only use Location Edits where the current pin is incorrect in the real world.
It was an accepted as a wayfare spot and I know that all of them won’t be eligible to appear in the game. However it was placed wrong in the map when I was being uploaded the arrow pin that’s in the pictured above was standing when it was being submitted in the game
In that case please follow @cyndiepooh 's advice above.
My note was not meant to imply that this is what you was try to do. We get many comments on here from members that “I was just trying to move it so it appeared in game” and wondering why they got a Warning / Suspension so just wanted to make sure that you are aware.
I get that but what I’m saying is that the submission was placed wrong
