Wayspot nominations declined

Looks like all my wayspot nominations in catalan get overturned, while those in english are accepted.
Is that even possible? I mean it would be unfair to say the least, am I right?

Welcome to the forum!

The language you submit it should not make a difference, but it may unintentionally have an influence on reviewers understanding what you have submitted. We have a lot of people here (not me) who live in areas of the world where multiple languages are spoken who may be able to guide you. Would you post screenshots of a nomination from your contributions page that you feel may have been rejected in error because of the language issue?

This is one of the many which spaniards don’t approve

I meant to post screenshots of what the nomination looks like on your contributions page here

I can’t really tell much about what this is from what you posted.

Google Lens translated this to:
“Can Dell Wrought iron gate with the name of the house Street art”
If this is a single family private residential property, then the location would not be eligible.

If it is a business name, then this does not meet the “art” criteria to me.

To the right the submission not approved. To the left the many overturned submissions for the community space in a 300 people town.
Now tell me again it is not because spaniards.

Scenic view benches are very difficult for the automated process to understand as eligible. Since you got this rejection reason, no human has seen this yet. You can either appeal the rejection, or try again with a photo that is centered more like these examples in a new nomination.

Your supporting photo does not show the bench, making it difficult to be convinced that it is where you say it is and has safe access.
There are some beautiful photos added to a Google Maps label here: 41.2393611266519, 0.8469493788535017
I wanted to caution you NOT to add the photos you use for the nomination to Maps so that they are not flagged as available on a third party site, even if you took them yourself.
