I submitted this and it finally got approved; but it’s been over a week of not showing up. What can I do?
Hello and welcome @amvogs14
The most likely reason is that it hasn’t met the Pokémon Go selection rules. These are based around some mapping software which is a bit technical but described in this article
https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
only 1 wayspot to become a pokestop in a level 17 cell.
Unfortunately the map we can use to check has not been updated for nearly 5 months. I had a look and can’t see anything. If something has been added close to this new wayspot in that timeframe tgat may be the cause. If you provide more details of nearby pokestops we may be able to unpick this.
Hi and welcome to the forum! I moved your post into a new separate discussion thread - odds are people would not have seen it in the old thread you responded to.
The most likely reason you are not seeing your wayspot appear is that it is not eligible for Pokémon GO, as @elijustrying described above.
From what we can see after looking at the street address in your screenshots, this location doesn’t appear to have wayspots on any maps we can access, that are unfortunately not up to date since May 2025. It is entirely possible some have appeared since that point in time, though.
At this point the best thing you can do is to share the exact coordinates at which you submitted (this is available in your nomination email), and to let us know (you would need to be on-site) if there are actually already Pokéstops in Pokémon GO at this location. There appears to be an outdoor seating area and something like a beach volleyball field (?), one of these could well be a Pokémon GO object in your cell of interest already.
