- Location (lat/lon): 40.566750, -3.062852
- City: Horche, Guadalajara
- Country: Spain
Hi!
Recently one of my POIs was accepted, but i saw in the map that the location that i marked the waypoint was changed all of the sudden, and now is not showing up. I don’t know if it was a bug or something, but its not on the place it should be. I marked the correct location on the photo below.
The correct location is: 40.566549, -3.063470
If you need evidence that is really on the X that i drawed, i can go to the location and provide more pictures so it can be moved.
Thank you!
Hello,
As well as the location I would question the following…
-
This does not look like it is an authorised Mural, looking more like Graffiti (Vandalism) and IMO should not have been accepted at all.
-
What is the building that it is located on?
Good Luck.
Hey!
Well, it’s not, it’s the main entrance of a social club famous in this town where people reunite so it’s not vandalism and, actually, it was made by one of the owners of this club.
There are two doors, main entrance is the one with the graffiti. Even in google maps with the coordinates i wrote, you can see the name of the club.
Thanks
I am only stating opinions as these are the things you will need to address with your appeal.
I see no “Social Club” name on the building.
Nothing to prove that the single storey is part of the same building as the rest.
Without evidence it still looks like Graffiti.
Remember: It is not me that reviews in your area, It will definitely not be me that reviews this post (that will need to be staff).
Your choice whether to address any of this with the appeal but I don’t think you will be helping your case if you don’t.
Good Luck
In spanish, the word ‘‘Peña’’ means Social Club.
Even tho, you can check with these photos and google maps that it really is the same building.
Thanks for the tip, hope these photos help to prove this is really the location
I am not disputing the location of the POI.
IMO: The POI does not meet criteria to be a wayspot and as you require staff to look in to this the eligibility could be checked. Staff may decide that the location is incorrect but the wayspot is not eligible and decide to remove it altogether.
Thanks for the appeal, @donlegan! We have reviewed the report and have taken the necessary action on the Wayspot in accordance with our policies.
