Hello! I recently submitted a wayspot appeal for a declined wayspot. Thankfully it was accepted! However this wayspot is not yet in any games… There are no wayspots close to this for atleast half a mile. What can i do about this
the title of the wayspot is Westcourt Public Footpath and is in Gravesend in the southeast of England
How recently was the appeal accepted? It can take up to 48 hours for wayspots to sync into the game, so if you’ve only just had the appeal accepted, you may need to wait for a little bit. If it still hasn’t appeared after 48 hours, there may be a bug, or it may be that a nearby property owner previously requested the removal of a wayspot in this vicinity and that has created a black spot. I don’t see anything on the map that would prevent it from being able to sync though. Coordinates are 51.426927, 0.392432 for anyone else interested in looking at it.
You were lucky to get this accepted on appeal, since it doesn’t appear eligible. It’s just a gennel/alley/cut-through. It is a PROW, but ones like this don’t get accepted by the community and it’s even lower down the pecking order than the single thumbs-up example at Trails & Markers

Yeah, that’ll be why. Pokémon Go only syncs with wayfarer once per day. You need to wait for the daily sync to happen today, and if it hasn’t shown up, then it might appear during tomorrow’s daily sync instead.

In my opinion as an ordinary U.K. reviewer this should not have been agreed.
It is a PROW, however it is less than 50m in length and is a simple ginnel between two roads. The description is accurate as it states that it just links the 2 roads. So although you can walk there it is not meeting the exploration category in my view and the original rejection was correct.
So yes the submitter got lucky.
Will there be any consequences for this?
I don’t think so, it has been accepted.
But I would take the information on board that it isn’t enough to just say this is a PROW it still has to show it is worth exploring. If you are considering further submissions.
There are some good PROW nearby
Make sure to include the number of the path and a description of what you might see ….a walk through the golf course and across Kent countryside et etc.

You may want to check in game… the Wayfarer map is often one sync behind.
