All of our informative placards that we have on our community, Boat launches and peers are exactly the same, and I know of two different boat launches that have the same signs and the same accepted submissions on their signs and mine are all rejected
Welcome. Rule of thumb is never use existing wayspot as basis for acceptance. Those can be incorrectly accepted . Alternately there are various thing that can cause rejection beside foto only.
If you want community advise , please share complete detail (title, description, info, foto, loc, etc) on your nomination and rejection reason. You can get the coordinate from thank you email that you receive when you submit.
Clearly those signs which are at a PUBLIC boat launch were put there after hurricane katrina the descriptions are great the signs are permanent and fixed and will never be removed without a new in place
Ok so can I not gather the photos and stuff and submit them when I get home?

You might be in the early stages of using Wayfarer. It’s very common for everyone to start their nominations by using existing PokéStops they’ve seen as a reference; I totally understand that. However, as TjoeMi mentioned, it is true that some locations currently serving as Wayspots may not actually meet the current eligibility criteria. Most importantly, please take a look at the eligibility criteria. That should be the first step in deciding whether a location qualifies as a Wayspot or not.
What kind of experience was that location or sign installed to provide? Does that experience fit into any of the eligibility criteria categories: exploration, social interaction, or exercise?
Wayfarer criteria include not just the eligibility criteria, but also acceptance criteria and rejection criteria. Additionally, topics that often spark debate are collected in the Forum Criteria Discussions Library. It will take some time, but please read through all of them. It may seem like a detour, but it is the most important shortcut you can take.
Doesn’t sound like it will be a problem here but for future reference please note that you have to be within 10km when you nominate.
I’m about to try again with a fresh nomination at the same location which is close to my house 3km. from the knowledge I’ve hopefully sponged so when it comes online can I get someone to critic me please.
Posting once the nomination is uploaded could be seen as identifying yourself.
I would suggest posting the details you plan to use first, get the advice then make the nomination.
