I have nominated 2 wayfarers in my home town. Not close to other gyms or pokestops. I did all the reviewing to get the upgrade for the review to help get it into the game faster, only to have them not get put into the game. What could be the reason
Can someone help me figure out why these havent been put into the game. Spent 2 days doing reviews to try get more Pokestops in my small town. We have very limited amounts of Pokestops and everyone in town has said they would LOVE to see more in town, so i put in the work. Took bunch pictures and they got accepted. We were stoked to atleast get 2, but on the niantic wayfarer map they are showing NOT in game. SADFACE, little bit demoralizing.

When a wayspot is accepted, it can normally take up to a couple of days to appear in game if it’s eligible to do so, as stated in your acceptance emails. Pokémon Go only syncs with the wayfarer database once per day. I can’t see anything blocking these two wayspots from appearing in Pokémon Go (unless there are any sponsored locations that I’m not seeing), so I would imagine they should be able to appear unless there is a property owner restriction in place at both places. You probably just need to wait a little bit longer.
I hope so as of now the only real chance we got of getting poke spins in the town is walking around in a 1 block by 1 block circle, or go into a big city which has pokestops 3 per block. I have walked around this town taken TONS of pictures and have many more in the nominations getting voted on. Having more stops in this small town would be absolutely amazing and get more people out and about to do more in game activities. Thank you for your help and support. Hopefully tomorrow ill check up and see 2 new pokestops.

They are showing on the map but at the moment as “Unused”, don’t worry this is normal as the map has 2 “syncs”.
- 1st is what’s been added to the database.
- 2nd is an update from Pokemon Go showing what they are been used as. (expect this tomorrow).
If you go in person you should be able to see them in game.
Just having a quick look at the map and “St John’s Lutheran Church” could be nominated and “should” trigger a Gym.

Just went and looked and both my nominations have been put into the game and one of the stops turned into a GYM! thank you so much!!! just informed the fellow pokemoners in the community and they are happy as all hell.
