Wayspots still not in game

I have 2 that were approved last month and they are still not in the game. Got email saying within 48hrs and still nothing. They dont show up in map or when other people are submitting. Top photo in game and bottom 2 still waiting.
Any help?

I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question. I know the in-game prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Web Submit form does use the word “wayspot” instead. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. Hello and Welcome,

“Mullington Park Picnic Table” is, according to the Map active as a Pokestop.

Unfortunately “Mullington Park BBQ” & “Mullington Park picnic tables” will not go live as Pokestop / Gym as they share a cell with “Mullington Park”.

BBQ “may become a Dynamax Powerspot” at some time in the future.

Thanks and that sucks. We where hoping for a gym to there as there is only 2 stops and a powerspot.
How do some places have so many gyms and stops ontop of each other?

How do I find that type of map?

The larger L14 cell does include 2 Gyms.

This can happen due to…

• Sponsored Waypoints
• 4 Waypoints close but all just over the lines of the cells. (see below)…
• There was an anomaly where “moved” waypoints could stay even when moved in to an occupied cell. This should no longer happen and we do get reports of old cases being corrected.

How do I find that type of map?

It is the map from this site with some “unofficial” add-on. We are not allowed to link them but a search for “Wayfarer Tools” should be helpful.

Niantic have never confirmed the Cell system.

Warning: I always add this when discussing Cells. Knowledge of cells should never be used to mis-place waypoints. This can lead to suspensions on Wayfarer and Game accounts.

It should only be used…

• To locate cells that are empty that include a “In Real World” POI.
• Certain POIs can have more than 1 correct location (Example: Football Field. Place behind Goal but you have choice of 2.

Thank you. Did not know about the cells and annoying they use them. Was hoping to get more around to help with raid hour as a car is needed to do all the ones around us.

I think there is scope for another wayspot to be a pokestop as there is an empty cell to the west side of the park

There is another picnic table to the west side of the park that could be submitted separately, a quieter area under trees.

There is also what looks like a separate court ( is it a padel court? ) at the tennis courts nearby

I think a better photo for courts would be good.
If you submit courts 2/3 and 4/5 you may get further Powerspot sites.

I appreciate these won’t give another gym but at least it will increase the pokestops nearby which may help with some play, but for greater gym use etc then yes you will need to go to a bigger play area.
