I submitted a waystop for a community pool and it got accepted however the stop is showing the wrong photo? I also submitted a different stop behind the pool separately for a hot tub but the pool photo is using the hot tub photo. I looked at my submissions and the pool submission has the correct photos and so does the hot tub. But if you look on the map the pool has the hot tub photo? It must be a glitch that merged the two submission photos together. I’ll include pics due to this being wordy and confusing.
I need the pool photos fixed. Both correct photos are in the submission on my end. I have no idea of what happened on Wayfarer’s side. It would also be really nice if the hot tub was approved since the glitch screwed up the submission. I sent an appeal but until those photos are fixed that will probably be denied.
I noticed it today when the hot tub was denied for being a duplicate. Its not a duplicate, but it looks that way because for whatever reason both submissions photos were merged together. 7/21/26

The following are screenshots from my own wayfarer account to prove that my pool submission never used the hot tub submission photos and to prove that i did it right by doing two separate submissions. The glitch is the pool submission showing the hot tub photo in the pokestop which is seen on the map.
Pool waystop submission never had that hot tub photo look at the submission screenshot. Pool pokestop shouldn’t have that hot tub photo.
Its a glitch. Needs fixing.
Since i was accused of fake photos here are the originals that are still on my phone and the same that were used for each submission. I also put these in a comment but adding them here as well.
At some point the hot tub was determined to be a duplicate of the pool. I only see 1 wayspot.
But also, it looks to me like you used photos you grabbed from a website instead of taking the images yourself. That is not allowed. Do not do that again.
Additionally, the pin for the pool is located in the water. That is not good, either. When you are choosing where to locate the pin, place it somewhere on the concrete where a person can stand to access it. I know that PGO has a broad interaction range, but wayspots serve more than just PGO. They need to be safe for all current and future games.
I took these photos myself for the submissions and still have them in my phone. I did not pull them from a website because I know that is not allowed.

Now, the duplicate is the whole point of the thread. Somehow the pool ended up with the hot tub photo even though that photo was used for a completely different submission. Thats why the hot tub submission was flagged as a duplicate. I need them to go fix the glitch that caused this to happen then fix the pool photos. This is also why i put my wayfarer submission screenshots to show that its a glitch because I did it right on my end. My pool submission doesn’t have the hot tub photo. The screenshots proves this.
I’ve also added the original submission photos to prove that I took them.
The original photos for the two wayfarer submissions to prove that I took legitimate photos for each submission. Apparently its not clear that the wayfarer screenshots were proof to help explain to the devs.
The hot tub was reviewed and deemed to be a duplicate of the pool, so that is when the main photo of the hot tub submission was added to the pool wayspot.
You are now seeing the photos on the pool wayspot and assuming this is what caused the rejection, but you have got cause-and-effect mixed up.
Whether the rejection was valid or not is not relevant to this explanation.
