When you try to create pokestops by wanting one in a particular place and trying to force this by going âthis might workâ or âletâs try this oneâ, it can lead to failure, confusion and disappointment.
An alternative is to explore and see what you can find that is interesting and eligible.
Please have a look at these for understanding what makes a good wayspot.
A wine shop does not meet any of the core criteria - Exercise, Social, Exploration. Additionally, it is adult-focussed and, although children are allowed inside, risks failing as adult-only services are explicitly not allowed.
It is possible there is nothing near your house, but if you post a location (not of your house!), people are often willing to look around and see what might be eligible.
I canât specifically comment on post offices in your area, but generally everywhere around the world, post offices are places that everyone can go into.
Instead of trying to justify a wine shop, you could ask for assistance.
If there is nothing eligible near your house, there not much you can do. You can however, work with local council to set up community project like LFL , community garden, etc
Please read the links I posted earlier. Understanding what wayspots are intended to represent and what makes an interesting wayspot is going to give you better results than asking about things which are definitely not eligible.
That is a potentially eligible point of interest. It fits the criteria, but it might be on single-family private residential property (SFPRP). Please note that anything on SFPRP, including the external boundary, is strictly not allowed, even if you see wayspots already on SFPRP.
It isnât possible to tell from that photo whether it is on SFPRP or not.
Cafes that have seating are highly eligible. If local reviewers donât understand this, as @wooperIooper said, then you could appeal if rejected. You get two appeals each of which is returned after 15 days, so this means up to 4 appeals per month.
Walk around the local area. Anywhere that is a cafe of any sort and where people can and do sit and socialise is worth submitting.
