It is wild how sometimes the appeal reviewers appear to look at absolutely zero of the evidence that has been painstakingly provided. This restaurant seems like the ideal candidate to me.
I agree totally that this is not as it should be …however lets not forget that we are all human and we are all capable of mistakes that we look back on with embarrassment.
Sure, if it was a one-off. Every single restaurant I’ve ever appealed has been rejected just like this. Ignoring all information provided showing that the restaurant very obviously meets criteria. Mistakes happen but this seems to be a consistent one, meaning that it’s a training issue they need to resolve, not one person having a bad day and rushing through it.
That’s not a nice experience, luckily I’ve got a better experience. So it really just depends on who is reviewing (and naturally also on the quality of the appeal).
It also depends on the quality of the submission. You might believe that every single restaurant you have appealed has been a solid submission, but since not every restaurant can be a wayspot, this might not be the case.
