Hi,
I have edited your post as you are again using unhelpful phrases.
It can be a frustrating process and all wayfinders will have had experience of rejections that seem unfair.
I appreciate that you are trying to change your submission to make this work. That is a step in the right direction.
However, the experience is that the object is highly unlikely to meet acceptability criteria. People have provided a breakdown of what they see as the issues and why it is not meeting criteria.
Unfortunately there are some fundamentals that canât be changed.
What we canât do is turn everything that people would like to be a wayspot into an actual wayspot, just because someone wants it to be so. I know that is not a message you want to hear but it is what it is.
It is great that you have so much enthusiasm and willingness to ask. My advice is to redirect that to another object and get some success. We will help with that.
problem with this theory is there IS a stop 65 feet away that is VIRTUALLY THE SAME so there is no reason for this to be rejected other then clever wording. the only difference is the size, and this one has a company crest in the middle of it.
I have had experience with the arbitrary âsystemâ here. I could give many examples of stops existing while their twins were rejected.
I am older then that!
thatâs fine.
Ok so I should NOT have nominated it as Art. even though company logos are used all the time. I can try the waterwall option again.
POI is subjective.
Speaking of interest, I can re-nominate the âgiving tree donor plaqueâ, which is a concrete marker in the ground by a tree donated by nurses for donor week. you think that can work? I did not have the stomach to fight that one last time.
It doesnât look like anyone has followed up explaining further about the rejection reason you received.
Niantic has an automated system that basically does a check of every nomination submitted. This automated system looks at the image and uses machine learning to evaluate a number of unknown to us variables. Niantic does not make these variables known for obvious reasons. This system is not perfect. It can produce incorrect rejections, or even vary from nomination to the next. This could explain the âvirtually the sameâ stop you see in the game. So all we can do is provide our best guess, or theory, as to why the automated process rejected a nomination.
I was under the impression there is a good way to nominate it. like for instance what should my picture be about? should I get farther away? closer? How shall I word it? I plan to nominate it as âcommunity hospitalâs waterwall ground levelâ. do you think thatâs good?
