Last month I made a nomination purely intended for a powerspot only. It was a hiking trail marker sticker.
I got rejected by the community, but the appeals team had my back and accepted it on grounds of my appeal text. I knew the sync could happen today, so when I checked a couple minutes ago, not only was my nomination a powerspot now, really close to my home. More of my nominations meant for pokestops were added as powerspots.
This is a great feeling. I love these powerspot sync sometimes, they can be even more rewarding then pokestops
Wow, how lucky In our play area, which is a sports center, we have made 6 extra nominations, none of which have become a power spot for more than 6 months.
I think the ones that require 22 meters of distance are the ones that are imported from the other map, because I have posted proposals that are 25 meters or more away and these have not been converted into any powerspots.
Yes, the ones that appeared today are separated by more than 30 meters. Itâs worth mentioning that they were proposed in already occupied cells, but with the powerspots that the system added, it doesnât matter if they are 25 meters or 22 meters, they still appear. I noticed this because in others Iâve added at 25 meters and 28 meters, they have never become a powerspot. The two new ones that appeared today are more than 30 meters apart.
They might have become a powerspot, but they might not appear right now if there are already 2 powerspots active in the big cell. I had this last month, it took 15 days before the new one appeared for the first time.
If there are no powerspots in that big cell, that unfortunately, they did not become powerspots.
But there is still hope. Another nomination of mine became a powerspot after 2 powerspot syncs. I like to look at with positivity.
Yes, one of my Power Points appears every two weeks but I also have another one thatâs only in cell 14, and it doesnât disappear and reappears when the timer reaches 0.
I have my own way of defining powerspots from observations I made just to make it a little bit easier for myself. What you explained I call a permanent powerspot, that never recharges and always has an active battle on it, unless you beat it ofcourse.
There is also powerspots that appear a certain amount of time in a timeframe, and random powerspots I have noticed.
I hope your spots still become powerspots eventuallyđ€
Was there an update today? Just today, a powerspot appeared that hadnât appeared before, and itâs one of the ones I mentioned that had a 25-meter distance.
And there have been many reports to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord that have indicated that 22m is the number. So much so that the 22m circle was added to the âpogotoolsâ tool. I feel very confident in stating that 22m is most likely the inclusion rule, and certain that it is less than 25m.

Came here to report we just got reports of a new sync for Power Spots to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord, so maybe they are making up for that skipped one in November.
TY for the report, but I never trust Campfire to show Power Spots correctly, especially on days when they are in flux. Have you been to the locations in person?
