When nominating in Pogo, I always use the feature to see existing wayspots to avoid creating a duplicate, especially the orange markers for wayspots not appearing in Pogo. Recently when I was downtown in my town and tried this and almost every storefront and generic business had an orange marker on it. Most of these are not eligible. Is it also showing me the things from the purchased map that are potential powerspots? If so, how do I know if the thing I’m thinking of nominating is already a wayspot?
I absolutely hate that they added the Powerspot imports to the nomination map. Usually a powerspot import will have a picture that is a placeholder instead of a photo:
However, other imports that are fully Wayspots can have these images, and now people can add photos to the Powerspot imports.
Someone with access to the GeoSpatial Browser could check to see if it is a true Lightship database Wayspot there, but that is not meant for the general public to use.
I have been submitting eligible things if I strongly suspect that they are Powerspot imports.
