Why Did Mine Get Rejected?

I did feel like this was a good spot as there are not many stops in the area. This reminds me of transformer boxes that are painted on. This postal box is no long in service and has been there for over 25 years.

  • Old Post Office Mailbox. Old mailbox at a corner. Great for trainers walking through the neighborhood.

  • Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them

  • Location: 33.7874146, -118.0401532

The transformer boxes themselves aren’t eligible - it’s the art applied to them that is eligible. A transformer box or postal box without art attached wouldn’t meet eligibility standards.

This is not a good way to consider wayspot submissions. It can be frustrating to go “I want a pokestop/gym here” and then hunt around to find something; this is how people end up submitting things that are not at all eligible.

A good way to do it is to walk round an area and see what you can find that is interesting. Wherever it is, that is where it is.

Submitting wayspots has made me notice a lot more things that I would otherwise have walked past and never seen. You become a lot more aware of your surroundings when part of your mind is constantly searching for new wayspot submissions. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I suggest you move on from this one. Not all mail box is eligible. If its painted, it might be eligible. Some uk mailbox with old cipher also might be eligible. But i find it hard for this one to pass. If you can find anything significant about it, i am open to read.
