Welcome to the forum!
We can check if you give us more information. The title, the main photo, and the location - gps coordinates are the easiest but the street address can work.
I do recommend this topic:
How do you use those grid lines?
That is a third party tool created to use with the Wayfarer map by a Wayfarer ambassador. We are not allowed to share links to third party tools on the forum. You can search the internet for wayfarer tools if you are interested.
Ok I understand but the pokestop/gym that is not appearing is still syncing? And will appear?
I don’t see any Wayspots around the center here. There may be a geoblock here where a property owner has requested them to be restricted. But staff would have to tell you that.
With it accepted on June 30, I believe it should have synced in by now. There haven’t been any reports of missed sync between then and now.
FYI the map isn’t “live”, it updates about once per day. That’s what is meant by “sync”… the game syncing with Wayfarer.
It seems to be that the sync is done, I can now see the pokestop. Question, how to apply for a gym? I have applied three and they are all pokestops.
You cannot submit something specifically to be a gym. It will depend on the the S2 cells. The topic posted before has a link to an article which explains: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
But the tldr version is that you get gyms when there are 2, 6, and 20 total pokestops and gyms in an L14 S2 cell.
In this cell, you currently have 2 gyms - that last pokestop would have caused Basketball Playground to become a gym.
So you would need 14 more pokestops to create another gym.
Why that one become a gym? I did not submit that.
The game randomly chooses a Pokestop to promote to a gym within the L14.
I hope there is a way to contest that because two gyms are already there now, and in the area below doesn’t have.
Also there is no pokestop visible there before
