this building have this massive work of art and the system dont even let it be voted…
Can we see your nomination? It would help to see the title and description you used and what supporting information there was - to advise on whether to appeal or not
It is a masterful work by the artist JJ Airos; if you know how to look at it, it shows the planets aligned (that is the description)
and this is complemntary info:
This is very important because it historically demonstrates how art and architecture can be combined to create something that shows the universe in its most primitive form. This work of art, called imaginary and binary cosmic cytoplasm, even plays with the rhyme of the universe.
Hello and Welcome,
Does it have any information board or plaque that could be used as the 1st supplemental?
I’ll be honest and state that all I can see are metal bars ![]()
Is there a website that explains it that you could include in the supplemental.
In regards to your text, personally I don’t like when people state things like “It is a masterful work” or “This is very important” I will be the judge of that. Although I am against this type of comment it would not cause me to Reject, just opinion.
Not understanding what it is would be more likely to make me Reject (or at least skip).
Good Luck.
To help us help you, we can give you better advise if you show us screenshots from your contributions page https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations
Please provide:
- A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
- Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
- Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
- If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.
I realize that you have relayed some of this information already, but seeing the screenshots can still help.
Yeah I do much better when I can see the screenshots - it’s easier for me in a familiar format I think
Ordinance No. 8545/90 of the city of Córdoba requires the incorporation of works of art, such as sculptures or murals, into public and private buildings under horizontal property ownership in order to obtain the final building certificate. The ordinance, in effect since 1994, seeks to integrate art into the urban heritage, and the Secretariat of Culture is responsible for its implementation.
so… all the buildings in the city must have a work of art…
Put yourself in reviewer shoes. So far your photo show nothing but building.
Imho, I am sorry but i dont know where to look. You need to provide better evidence on how its art or explain how it is what you say.
Hi,
Sorry that you are having a frustrating time.
This looks cool.
In my view this is an ideal candidate to use the new web submit method rather than the in game method.
The web submit allows up to 5 supporting images.
This means you can include some to illustrate the location especially if unclear on streetview.
You can also include a close up of a plaque. It is often helpful to have a photo that shows where the plaque is.
You can even include a screen shot of a relevant webpage - I also then include the website link in the supplementary text - so that reviewers can easily see that additional context.
When you go to submit you need to be within 10km of the wayspot location.
I often will place the submission on hold so I can double check and adjust any text before releasing.
For the main photo you need to crop in closer.
Not sure if this the best sort of angle and the tree is blocking as well .
This sort of angle might work better, a few steps back so you can get a better sense of the vertical strips.
I try to get photos fairly square normally but the shape of this might not work well that way.
The onus is still on submitter to provide enough evidence to convince reviewer. You cant expect reviewer to accept anything you submit just because you said its art. On wayfarer web submission, we are allowed for up to 5 supporting photo. Its latest improvement compared to game submission to help submitter provide more evidence.
already did that … made like 20 submit… there is something here in my area that I cant even move the pokestops to get more… so frustraiting…and random the things here…
If these are auto rejected, are you appealling them?
Can we see a full submission to see if we can work out what needs improving?
Just picked up on this comment, can you confirm that you are attempting a “Location Edit” that is currently mis-placed in to its correct location.
Trying to move something from a correct location to get something else on the map is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspensions on both Wayfarer and Game accounts.
Please Note: Not saying this is what you was trying to do, just a warning in case it was.
Also, trying to move from a “correct location” is generally denied, even if the suggested location is equally correct. I had one case where I attempted a move on a statue contained within an open-walled weather shelter, moving the point from the center of the front (entrance) to the actual statue. This was denied on the grounds that the two points were equally correct. (It was not treated as abuse.)
of course I´m appealing them…but clearly nobody reads… I have rejections saying that is not permanent WITH THE PICTURE OF A PLATE OF 10 YEARS OLD!!! the thing is recent… I´ve created more than 1000 pokestop during the years and suddenly ALL get rejected…even with appeal…
and I can put a lot more… but I think I made my point here…
The rejection reason is “temporary or not distinct” - since we no longer have “Does not meet criteria” as a rejection reason, many nominations that would have been rejected for that reason are being rejected as “not distinct.”
Please also note that a rejection for “not permanent and distinct” can be for any of the following reasons:
- reviewers did not think it was permanent
- reviewers did not think it was distinct
- reviewers did not think it was eligible under Social/Exercise/Exploration and wanted to explicitly reject it
I genuinely hope ranting helps you, but you would do well to step back and take a pause.
Focus on the key criteria - Social, Exercise, Exploration. Make sure your submissions meet at least one of these very well and make sure it is clear to reviewers how it does this.
Did you mean to reply to me? I have just given you the perception of how one specific nomination appears to me, and I have not even seen the entire contribution.
We help a lot of people on the forum, and my favorite posts are people we take from frustrated and angry to successful and optimistic. If you do not find our reflections on your contributions helpful, I hope you can find answers elsewhere.
It is understandable to be unhappy when we don’t believe that reviewers are reviewing correctly. But we are unlikely to change how reviewers review unless we present our nominations differently. If you disagree with our suggestions then you do not have to use them.
Are the photos you have provided in this reply related to the ten year old plate statement? They lead me to believe that I would have rejected this as “not distinct” as well. How did you explain that this meets criteria in your nomination?
[Edited to say nevermind replying to me. Comments made elsewhere indicate that you do not want my advice and I will honor that.]
