I nominated a Heron Mural inside Alchemy House, Rochester MN (an OFFICIAL business on Google), and it got rejected. Why? It’s in an official business which you can verify by either searching up “Alchemy House Rochester MN” on a search engine, or type it up on Google Maps. I also did an appeal which got rejected. I believe it said something like “the main reason among reviewers for rejecting this nomination is because they couldn’t verify the place. THIS IS AN OFFICIAL HAIR SALON. I know you guys say appeals are final but PLEASE accept it. A lot of the clients play Pokemon go.

If you want community opinion please share all detail on your nomination (foto, title, description, supporting information, location ). We dont know what cause rejection but we might be able to advise on why its rejected.
Since its seems rejected because location, please get the coordinate from thank you email that you receive after submisson.
If they can’t determine the location, you need to figure out a way to prove the location using the five supprting imagss you have through the web submission process. There are various strategies for this. We can help best if we see what you already submitted. Please post screenshots of what you’ve already submitted.
I don’t want opinion, I want it approved. I actually know the owner of the business, where the pokestop is at. If I get them to add the picture of the pokestop, will that help you guys verify it’s real, so you can add it?
If you show us screenshots of the contribution, we may be able to help you with this nomination, but only staff can overturn an appeal rejection. A mural is normally a good nomination. If you appealed this and it was rejected, the “Niantic Note” on your contribution will tell you why they did not accept it.
If this is “Alchemy house,” this appears to be single family private residential property, even if they do cut hair inside their home. This would be an ineligible location.

It’s an official business. Yes it’s BY residential homes but it’s not. When you go to Google Maps over it, it will say “Alchemy House”. It’s also by infinity outdoor living
So yeah it was originally just a normal residential house. That’s the reason it looks like a house. If you search up “Alchemy House Rochester MN” you’ll find it and it’s a official Google business.
I did do this search and did find this Google Label. Anyone can add a Google label. Do you have any other evidence you can find that this is not single family private residential property?
Real estate listings for this address show it as Single Family Private Residential Property.
And just so everyone knows, the entrance is in the back. Like I’ve said before this is an official business registered with the state. It’s also on Google if you search it up.
Ok I’m trying to think of how I could prove it. Also, what do you mean “anyone can make a google business profile”, no, no, no. You have to show proof you are a business. This is both a place where people live and now turned into a business.
You can also make video starting from last verified location from street view and moving inside showing where the mural is located and the hair salon. I see you ald show the mural in foto, but i have seen people using foto taken elsewhere to submit fake wayspot (i am not saying you did this) so you need to extra work to prove it.
The google business profile honestly is not convincing since its new. The hair salon website is better.
Staff can overturn an appeal rejection if you give them enough evidence that they can see their decision was wrong. There is no specific process for appealing an appeal. And you have not even shown us what the reason for rejection was, or screenshots of the contribution for us to help you know what you need to prove to convince them the rejection was incorrect. Or even what to improve for a new nomination.
