Tried to submit a running track here in Germany and got denied by the AI. Last time I appealed something, it went through but here I would like y’all to check if this is worth appealing. Especially since I talked this submission through in the forum in another thread already.

Da der Pin abseits der Bahn ist, werden keine Menschen bei dem Sport beeinträchtigt.
Yes, I would appeal this. I did say it is difficult to take a photo of the start to a running track so that it is clear what is being submitted. But this is definitely a destination for exercise for athletes, and exploration for enthusiasts.

This nomination was rejected by the automated process for not meeting criteria, but it does. The track is a great place for those who use it for exercise and for those who go to watch the athletes, so it meets criteria for exercise and exploration. The pin is placed at the starting line as a visual anchor for the track, but not on the track to interfere with athletes using it, per guidelines for sports fields. Please reconsider this rejection.
The translation of your supporting section is reading to me kind of like you are placing the pin away from the point of interest. Which is not what I think you meant, but maybe should address in the appeal. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t even have mentioned the pin in the appeal, and you can leave that sentence out.
