Here, this is a single playground. It doesn’t have a fence around it to keep dogs out/keep children in/mark this as “play here, not there” and has grass around each element of the playground, but given how close together these are, the wayspots are duplicates of each other:
I would probably agree, especially as I am not one of the “more stops = better game” players but as you say the rule is vague so was just stating that this is probably the reason the reports where rejected. whether we agree or not.
Yes vague does lead to different interpretations.
This sequence I would consider a single group as they must only be a few metres apart. The sort of distance needed for space around it.
Like wise if each of these was a piece of fitness equipment it would look like one fitness area as opposed to the ones spread out along a path with a longer distance between.
Wooden Playground (42.636526,-83.014223) is a patch of bordered gravel with a couple of the pieces of playground equipment on it.
The rest are on their own patches of gravel in a rough line, with grass inbetween, with at most 9 metres between one piece of equipment/the main playground and the next piece of equipment.
This caused Niantic to think along the lines of “that playground is small and those are not part of it” which is why the removal was rejected when matched to the main playground.
At least they’re not in separate cells, just two (probable) powerspots appearing that shouldn’t.
