Worth Appealing?

Hey

So, I made these two nominations recently and Emily rejected them both - are they worth an appeal?

  1. A bus terminal & bus stop

the location wasn’t loading when i took the screenshot, but here’s the location (-26.135778, 27.859242)
it’s a bus stop, i don’t see why it would not be accepted to be honest.

  1. Post Office Kiosk

  • location: -26.138378, 27.863127

this one has me even more puzzled, because there are multiple stops in south africa just like this one - though i get the feeling it’s because there’s a stop nearby titled “Westgate Post Office”.
but it’s not a duplicate, that stop is the outlet - these are the kiosks that have historically always been erected near a post office outlet, they’re roofed and have benches as well.
I feel this may be more worthwhile to appeal than the first one - any thoughts?

First thoughts

Bus terminal - the photo isn’t good enough, as there is too much stuff in the foreground that has nothing to do with the bus terminal. Especially the car, but also the roof. I would be tempted to resubmit with a better photo.

Bus terminals/bus stations are eligible, while bus stops aren’t, so if this is a bus terminal, describe it as a bus terminal not as a bus stop.

Post office kiosks: This photo is really hard to interpret as being /anything/ of interest and especially doesn’t look remotely like post office kiosks to me (I am in the UK), so it is very likely that the ML system also struggled. I’d try with a photo that shows better what these are - imagine you are presenting this to someone who doesn’t now about post office kiosks.

(I don’t know if these are eligible by the way - existing wayspots aren’t always a good guide to eligibility.)

As @salixsorbus says, bus terminals are typically eligible. I would recommend taking a photograph of the sign as the main image for the first one, the AI may be confused by the other elements. I assume the other one is this - Google Maps - if there’s a sign then submit that else you may be better taking a photo from either end with the twin arches, although care must be taken to exclude any faces or license plates.
