Would like to withdraw or edit an appeal

Wayspot Information:

  • Wayspot Title: Venda do Zé Félix

  • Location (lat/lon): -22.6762730414419, -45.684150716957184

  • City: São Bento do Sapucaí

  • Country: Brazil

  • Additional Information:

I’d like to request the removal or editing of this appeal due to a mistake on my end.

When this submission got automatically rejected the first time, I was under the impression that it could be due to a bad picture or an unremarkable location criteria, so I made an appeal that emphasizes the importance of this POI to our local community.

However, upon closer inspection of the guidelines, I noticed that I completely skipped over the “personal names or initials” ineligibility criteria, which entirely explains why my submission was automatically rejected in the first place.

Since I cannot withdraw the appeal or edit the POI’s name at this point in the process, I decided to bring it up here to hopefully clarify the situation.
The name I chose in the submission is the most known locally, but the commercial name is much better suited for a submission of a Wayspot, and it’s the one I should have used initially:

”Armazém Paiol”

If someone can take a look at it and help me fix it, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @Johnz9
I’ve moved your thread to General Discussion because the category Wayspot Appeals is for appealing rejected removal requests or to ask for reinstating removed wayspots.
I’m not sure to understand you correctly. Is it an edit of an existing wayspot you wanted to do now?

Hey @Johnz9 ,

You haven’t appealed this submission. Let me know if you were referring to anything else.

Thanks,

@AliceWonder1511

Thank you! It’s actually regarding an appeal that I’ve made (due to a rejected Wayspot submission), but later realized it should have been rejected due to a criteria I had missed.

@NianticAaron

I was referring to this one. It got rejected today for a different reason.

In any case, I believe I should be making a new submission as instructed, with more details explaining the significance of this location, as well as avoiding any personal names from now on.

Thank you for the replies!
