I might go for a wonder at some point in the near future to see if I can find some more wayspots. Near the red marker (just a bit south) there is a bridge that appears to be on a named trail route / path (Explore the Brent River Park - Brent River Park). Would it be worth subbing it or would I get several evil eyes looking in my general direction?
Footbridges are one of those places where the idea of categorical eligibility is shaky. Some people love them, some people don’t.
It will come down to the nomination you write for it: can you uphold it as a place to explore, exercise or socialize worthy of being a Wayspot? That’s going to be your determining factor.

I love submissions on hiking trails. Given the lack of detail on satellite view (and presumably the lack of street view), I would include supplemental details, links, and photos to help reviewers validate the location and safe pedestrian access. You might consider using a camera app like GPS Map Camera for your supplemental images to capture lat/long.

It looks as though it is part of the capital ring as well as a PROW
So there shouldn’t be a problem, providing it’s not just a couple of planks.
I have had successful submissions as it is a distinct point on the route and the bridge is needed to continue.
The PROW maps often have these features recorded.

I will need to pay that place a visit. The weather wasn’t great yesterday and was limited on time. I will try and post something when I can. This is a similar dillema that I had when I submitted a bridge a short while ago.
The bridge doesn’t need to be highly distinctive if it’s part of a trail……it’s the trail that matter and bridge is facilitating walking the trail. And like a marker is an anchor point.

I just had a footbridge approved today with some really helpful advice from @elijustrying on a topic I made a couple of days ago! (Not sure how to easily point you in that direction as I’m new around here…)
Obviously your descriptions and supporting info will be different, but these are the sorts of things I included if that’s of any use to you, and shows they can indeed be eligible
