I stated that it is NOT.a common street sign. Its a special remembrance sign under a common street sign.
That remembrance sign was applied by the local historic club to rise awareness for the history of the village.
To ignore that text is very frustrating.

It does look like its a basic street sign though. I assume the circled bit is the part you’re referring to about it being commemorative?
I think what the rejection likely means is that reviewers didnt think 1 word added to a street sign was enough to make this a great place to explore. If the sign had more information or something artistic added then it would be an easier nomination

I was able to read your full post. I see that you are providing a lot of information why this sign would be significant and important to your community. On the other hand, we and the appeal reviewer can’t verify if this text is correct or made-up. I know that may sound harsh, but unfortunately for these kind of signs that look like basic infrastructure to most people you have to convince us reviewers which you can do with links.
Are there any articles, links or other sites where this sign is mentioned? This way your nomination has more chance to be accepted.

People say all sort of word to get their nomination approved so personally i trust more if it got web link to support the nomination.
You can say hey this is amazing place to explore/exercise/socialize but a lot people basically said similar thing.
Personally i cant read german. I dont know whats written. The thing looks just additional name tag for street sign. The onus is still on submitter to convince reviewer that there are more story than just street sign.
