Im a science educator at heart. After decades of being a college professor and researcher, I now work as a science communicator. I’m a proud mom of two adventurous boys. I’ve spent years exploring how community, culture, and access shape people’s relationship with science, and I’m passionate about helping others connect with the world around them.
Wayfarer gives us a unique way to build bridges — to highlight what matters in our neighborhoods, to make underrepresented places visible, and to spark curiosity through exploration. I especially love supporting nominations that showcase local history, natural spaces, art, and cultural markers — especially in rural or overlooked areas.
