This nomination is for the swimming pool at an accommodation complex. These are deemed great places to socialise and exercise. Rejection criteria is private residence or farm & generic business. Clearly this is not the case. It is, in fact, a unique, multi apartment block of accomodation. Short and long term residents live here. Swimming pools are acknowledged as a great place to socialise and exercise. Hi,
This decision do not appear to be correct.
This is not what the appeals area is for however so I am moving to general discussion where I hope a member of the Wayfarer Team will see these instances as they do want to know if appeal decisions are not as expected.

Please see two submissions etc above.

Two very similar nominations. Both swimming pools in accommodation complexes. Both rejected by voters.

It seems ages since swimming pools in accommodation complexes were deemed good places to socialise and exercise.

Nevertheless, both rejected.

Both appealed and one accepted and one rejected.

Any comments?

The rejection statement here just wrong:

I don’t know what gets these bad appeal decisions overturned or not. But even the tool tip states locations do not have to be accessible to everyone:

Your interest is much appreciated and I am in full agreement with you.

It is just so disheartening. I posted this same problem some months ago. Yet here we go again.

They should be accepted first time around. It is so much mucking around having to appeal and then to get two different results!

It just puts me off nominating and reviewing.

All very good that most seem to agree that mistakes were made.

That swimming pool still not approved though.

Is there a solution in the works?

This has been going on for several months.

The OP appealed these, and they are saying that the appeal decisions are incorrect. We have been told by staff that if we believe an appeal rejection is incorrect to post about it here in the forums to have them looked at by staff.
