Is frustrating as I’m a come back player and try to contribute more to nearby communities at least wanted to promote Penang island from malaysia as lively as oversea countries that open the game and it’s map will show alot of pokestop and gym…and why Niantic seem stopping me from contribution?
Submission been rejected such as shrine frm side road but aren’t these were normal seen as a pokestop? Why others been approved but not mine? I had check and careful ensure the waypoint was not under same S2 cell. Can they at least point out what is the main reason these been rejected so we can take note from it rather than ask us to check the criteria that has been made, at least what I believed so…

I have to mention that Wayfarer is concerned with the accuracy to the physical real world object being submitted when it comes to wayspot pins. Game inclusion are set by each app and is not a Wayfarer criterion.
Guys, I saw in wayfare review had submission for jogging track accepted. But my bicycle track been rejected? What is the reason?
And also, my 1st submission was a water fountain and yet it still sit in Queue where other been rejected/accepted. Why it is so? Is very frustrating when we sweating walking around trying to promo the game and improve the community by norminated more pokestop and yet genuine submission either sitting in Queue or been Rejected. Haven’t taken into consideration we do not know how soon those accepted point can turn to pokestop or gym in Game
The ones that were accepted quickly could have been decided by the ML (machine learning ai) model that Niantic uses. Those emails will say the decision was from “our team” instead of the community.
Wait times in queue and in community voting vary widely depending on how many reviewers are active and how many explorers are submitting in your area. You can help clear any backlog by reviewing yourself. You can earn upgrades from reviewing which you can apply to your nominations to send them to a wider review pool, which usually means a faster decision.

There is a daily sync when accepted Wayspots which are eligible to appear in Pokemon Go are added to the gameboard.
I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the Lightship database, which can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell.
