In the early days of Me way-faring I made the error of nominating a footbridge then checked the forums a few days later once it had gone to “In Voting”.
Standard footbridge over a busy road, required a good clean and re-paint, lot’s of fly tipped rubbish.
Expected the dreaded “Reject” but got a surprise “Accept”. The only thing I believe swung it is I did mention (as a fact, not thinking this will make it eligible) was that the road had split a village and this bridge joined them up again.
Due to its condition it’s probably the nomination I regret making the most, even more than the ones that got rejected.
