  • City: Madrid

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): There is no object attached to this wayspot. There is nothing there that can be considered as a wayspot as it can be seen in the unique photo

I think there is in this case.

The current wayspot image:

This street view image from April, 2014, is nearly identical:

This street view image from April, 2022, shows the same decoration, but a lot more graffiti:

Now whether that should ever have been a wayspot well… that’s a different matter but it is present.

If the focus is supposed to be on the architecture above the doorway, it is probably a poor photo.

I don’t think is related to anything there. The title would be “Creativity on fire”, it doesn’t make sense to be attached to something there. The photo is not showing anything. It is also not related with the architecture above the doorway, which is generic. It seems to be a very old wayspot from Ingress that shouldn’t had been accepted in a first place.

Thanks for the appeal, @MegaTrainerRed. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
