My information shows I first saw chatter about it in early 2017.

This is a shed in a parking lot behind some stores. A Street View drive by from 2019 shows the duck is present but the sign is gone: https://maps.app.goo.gl/oSC4bpmR6tGazagZA

I happened upon this spot the other day, and noticed that the duck is now gone as well, though the mounting holes are still visible in the closeup.
