Invalid Wayspot - McConVILLE Bruce ‘Trail Marker’

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: McConVILLE Bruce ‘Trail Marker’

  • Location (lat/lon): 44°15’36.5"N 80°11’47.3"W

  • City: Mulmur

  • Country: Canada

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any):

  • These YouTube videos were recorded the date of the submission, at the location of the cluster of fake POIs. In the recording the three invalid POIs are displayed in game, IRL, and on google maps.
The McConVILLE Bruce ‘Trail Marker’ is shown to be an empty farmers field here.

The actual location of the plaque is shown here. It is the entrance to a single family private resident.

The location of the fake POI is at A. The location of the entrance to the private residence is at B. The videos above show the same intersection for cross reference.

Additionally, this POI is labelled as a Bruce Trail marker, but the Bruce trail does not exist at this location.
This trail mapping site confirms the location of the Bruce Trail in this section of the province. Place your cursor on the POIs to see the trail highlighted.

This image is a screenshot from the link above. I have added the circle to the left of “Mulmur” to note the location of the fake POIs.

Thanks for your time

Thanks for the appeal, @effigy. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
