When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
Wayspot Title: Longridge Recreational Football Pitch
Location (lat/lon): 55.8451560, -3.6808060
City: Longridge
Country:
Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information): Scotland
Additional Information (if any): clearly temporary children’s goal posts and bragged about getting them accepted on discord knowing fine well they were temporary and being advised as such.
This is just a personal opinion, but if you can see something on satellite, i dont think of it as temporary. What are the odds that the satellite happened to be over the field when these “temporary” goal nets were deployed? What is more likely is that this field is often used for football/soccer. The fact that the goal nets can move around isn’t that big of a deal, IMO. The field is what’s providing the opportunity for sport.
This clarification raises points about parks or recreational areas that don’t have signs but are about a space for exercise and socialisation. As such this could be considered.
Whether so one is bragging etc is not relevant to an appeal case.
Thanks for the appeal, @cookingthebooks We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
