Hello!
I have a question and wanted to see if someone could help me. There is a Dynamax in my area that has the wrong name on it. I have tried to report it but when you go in to the edit it is just for removal. I don’t want to have it removed I just wanted to get the name corrected. I tried to report it to Niantic Support but they do not seem to understand what that I just wanted the name corrected. Anyone have an idea as to how I can get it corrected?

Unfortunately, Wayfarer has little to do with Power Spots for D and G Max battles; those are handled by the PoGo team. I’ve had the same issue with a bank near me having a Power Spot from time to time, and the name is what they used to be before they changed it in 2012.
Most Power Spots have been imported from third party sources, although there are some that have been taken from the Lightship map. PoGo seems to not want to let us edit Power Spots, except asking for removal.
Well, I guess there isn’t a way to fix this little problem. Thank you so much for answering me. I appreciate your time and knowledge. I am really new to Wayfarer but really glad I found it. I am learning so much.

Are you comfortable sharing the name and/or location of the Powerspot? Some powerspots were pulled in from the Lightship database (which does include POI that do not appear in Pokémon GO) then it should be able to be updated. Powerspots that were imported from the other database do not appear to be adjustable at this time.
