Additional Information (if any):
The area that the Wayspot is located in is an area that up until 1990 was used as a civilian shooting range for over 120 years. Measurements recently taken at the site shows that the area is contaminated with heavy metals and dangerous pollutants including lead, antimony, zinc, copper and PAH. The concentration of these pollutions, in particular lead, is so high that the municipal government considers staying in the area to pose a health hazard. Due to this, the area has been closed off indefinitely since March. If you try to approach the area, you will find signs clearly stating “No admittance” around the entire perimeter of the restricted area.
For more information, see for example this page from the municipal government which includes a map of the restricted area, or this and several other news articles that discuss the closure of the area.
Thanks for the appeal, @bilde2910 After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
