Request to Reinstate Removed Wayspot

Hi, I am posting to request that a specific removed wayspot be reinstated. This wayspot was removed several years ago so unfortunately I do not have the exact wayspot title or location, however I do have the approximate title and location that should enable Wayfarer staff to easily triangulate the wayspot:

  • Wayspot title (approximate): University City-Big Bend MetroLink Station
  • Wayspot location (approximate): 38.651692, -90.315124
  • City: University City, Missouri
  • Country: USA

This wayspot corresponds to a prominent urban transit station, serving passengers traveling to nearby universities (Washington University and Fontbonne) as well as the nearby Delmar Loop, a historical cultural and entertainment district. As a major train station, Big Bend MetroLink Station qualifies as a great place to explore and socialize, helping connect students and neighbors to the wider St. Louis community.

If it turns out that the wayspot was removed for a separate reason unrelated to eligibility and can therefore not be reinstated, please clarify (either in this topic or via DM) the removal reason. Thank you so much.

If the removal was not for eligibility then I ca only assume it was a “property owner” request?

If that’s the case I would have thought that the “property owner” would need to contact Niantic and make the request to revert the block.

Thanks for the appeal, @Jammelev After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to restore the Wayspot in question.
