“Reviewing help for Pakistan”

Isn’t it just a matter of applying, being denied, and then attaching the Scampers data to the appeal links?
Isn’t Scampers a Niantic system?
Ambassador, please answer.

sorry, the translation feature only gave me something that didn’t make a lot of sense, I can not answer this

Is it okay for an Ambassador to say such things? I can’t decide not to support them. I’m listening to the flow of approval, not just denial, so I think you should post constructive opinions.

HarutoSora is promoting the good things about his town. Could you please stop giving negative responses? There are too many harsh responses.

My apologies, I did not mean to reject your good intent, but only mark your advice as “really not good”.

As mentioned across other threads, the submitter should focus more on their supporting photos, which will be the easiest and fastest solution. Scaniverse is not an option here.

Hi, welcome!

You indeed do not need to engage in scanning for now, I am also not sure why this advice was given.

Regarding the two nominations you are showing here: in the first one your main photo should be clearly framing the object you are nominating. This is not really the case here and possibly why ML rejected it. Maybe try framing a single fountain (not with a titled photo) and make the other ones well visible in the supporting photo, which should also help confirm location context as much as possible?
I would also strongly advise taking all the begging for Pokéstops and gyms and mentions of Pokémon GO out. The games do not make this clear, but you are submitting to a global database of wayspots used for multiple products, not to Pokémon GO. It doesn’t matter what you personally like playing, for the purposes of your nominations. This is taking space away from what could be needed context about how your nominations meet criteria or proof of their existence. The review process also does not determine what will be a gym. I would suggest engaging in reviewing yourself to understand what reviewers see and what information could be useful to them, which in turn will make yours better.
In descriptions, I would also suggest moving away from “beautiful and historical” to facts about why these places are beautiful and historic.

Is it maybe possible to switch to outdoor photos of the mosque? Outside of it being difficult to confirm location, the supporting photo is showing people in prayer, which could be iffy for some reviewers and possibly for the ML check.

Since now we are discussing multiple nominations of yours, I moved this to Nomination Support so people interested in this category can see it and give advice.

Hello! So glad you came here for some help! My advice is something that sounds fun to me, but probably not to most people. I think you may have to do a bit of extra work before you nominate something to make sure you are taking the most helpful supporting photos possible and using your supporting information in a really effective way. Here is what I mean.

Before you go out to nominate something, make a plan of the points of interest you plan to nominate, and look their location up on Google satellite. Because you don’t have reliable street view, you will have to make sure you find something clearly visible on satellite view in the same area, and make sure the supporting photo you take includes an image of the thing you are nominating, and the object that is also visible. Does that make sense?

The second thing you should is use your supporting information text (not the description) to help a reviewer find the object on satellite view. I have written things like “If you see the shadow that the gas station sign casts and then look north, you will see [the object I nominated].” Helping reviewers find something on satellite when street view doesn’t exist isn’t “influencing reviewers,” it’s just helpful.

I carry a notebook with me all the time to write down things I see to nominate, and their location. I take some pictures, and then I look them up, do research, and nominate at home usually. That works best for me. If you ever need help finding other things in satellite view for things you want to nominate, you are always free to ask for help here.

As you know on my side satellite view is of no help, So what should I do?

you have satellite view there though? i pulled up a location from one of your screenshots

it seems plenty adequate for proving at least some locations.

While the satellite view may not always be available through Wayfarer itself, it should be through google. You may have to check things outside of wayfarer to describe how to find things in your pictures.

By the default, no one can see satellite in Wayfarer for their own submissions.

There is a toggle to show the satellite view when you are nominating in the game (whichever game you use). That allows you to see what the reviewer will see on satellite when they review your nomination. Sometimes the satellite view in Wayfarer is older than what we can see on Google. I always check both to make sure that I know what I need to talk about in my supplemental information to help the reviewer know where the thing is located.
