This, to me, wouldn’t be a call to remove the Wayspot but to ask your local authority/whoever is responsible for the sign to provide a new one.
Thanks for the response, another thing despite the sign that it is not fully readable anymore is that my friend told me that it is a dead gym in Pogo. And for the renewal of these signs I don’t know, he send me another picture of a similar sign nearby which is completely gone. So I assume there is nobody who cares to renew them
That has zero bearing on whether it should be removed as a Wayspot

I would look to see if there are any local council people or MPs (or your areas equivalent) about restoring them.
Then they can at least have new photos.
I think removal is not the right option here at all.
