The Mural that is there now has been there as far back as March 2020 streetview history. There has been no sports mural here for years.
The building already contains two wayspots for its murals, “Funky Building Mural” and “Westside Cultural Arts”.

This is weird. The only explanation i can come up is that it was painted between 2018 and 2020 but duration is a bit short. I am a bit baffled if someone using AI to plant the mural.
The mural definitely did exist. You can find articles showing it from 2019.
Murals can come and go quickly. Sad that the mural wasn’t there longer, but it has been gone for a long time.
Most likely was just up for the Super Bowl that year in Atlanta. Don’t think it’s uncommon for murals to be put up for events and later changed. It’ll be back in Atlanta in 2028.
