okay got it 10 meters, then the above picture i provided is exactly 10 meter and as @paulingzubat said there is serveral building i tried to avoid them.
This is not a rule that you can move it away from the accurate position 10 metre it is that you can move one that is incorrect “in the real world” to the accurate location if it is within 10 metres.
Larger edits can be reported through the help chat.
the wayspot title ganapati murti at tripura, its previous location when i edited was 27.693464, 85.315885 and i submitted it on nearly 27.693378, 85.316528 as it’s the limit i can cross as it’s in middle of the buildings as for the players safety.
Look, the option to edit the location in PGO is constrained to 10m maximum. Help chat can suggest edits more than that. So location edits can essentially have unlimited range but accessed through different means.
However, legitimate edits are only done for location accuracy. See Location Guidelines:
Do:
Place the pin at the real life location of the object you are nominating
Place the pin along the edge or entrance of large objects such as buildings and sports fields. Placement should ideally be at the natural point of approach, such as a gate or door
Place the pin at the base of overhead objects
Keep in mind, the location needs to be safe and accessible, even if the access is restricted to employees or people with special access rights.
Don’t:
Don’t place the pin at a location that doesn’t naturally represent what is being nominated
I tend to do any location edit via help chat nowadays specifically because its very easy to get into trouble with edits especially when they push a PoI into a new cell.
With help chat, it’s possible to request that niantic staff do the edit, and you can suggest the new coordinates but they can choose what to do. It essentially means that your request is sense checked and agreed on by staff that it’s an improvement.
You can also supply evidence to show that you’re requesting a legitimate move to improve accuracy. So its just much safer to do things this way, and there’s the added bonus that they can move things by more than 10m if required
the only thing is i was the victim and i was the person who helped them to move the way spot to a correct location which was just seen today and i got flagged in Monday night and ban in Tuesday morning.
if the in game had allowed me to place the nomination in correct place firstly there will be no any mistakes. the poke stop was in medical hospital field and i just want to place it in correct location or far from the clinic.
but the game allows me to pin at certain point and i just did that, so i can’t be miss understood just trying to help the medical field to work peacefully as it was on wrong location as i played ingress and pokemon go .
The pinned location was correct originally, and you moved it. Just because the game lets you move something doesn’t mean you should.
Moving something away from a correct location strictly to benefit the Pokémon GO gameboard is considered abuse. Which is why your account was suspended.
