Just got another Niantic notification … “unfortunately blah blah blah” I always love it when the community rejects an edit suggestion to change “plague” to “plaque” … much like the rejection last year to change a Catholic Church from All Hollows to All Hallows. So Happy Holloween from Niantic as per their decree! So glad I stopped submitting, bar the “obvious” edit so I can laugh at the spurious rejects without investing too much of my valuable time. Thank you to all who continue to take one for the team and soldier on in a sea of idiocracy to make this game a better place. You are stronger than me. Or have fewer town fools.

This is extremely frustrating to have a simple, easy, clear correction rejected. I wonder if your email said this was an “our team” or the “community” decision?
If you want to use one on this, you can appeal the rejection from your contributions page. But you only have two appeals, each on a 20 day counter before you can use them again.

I was able to locate the contribution that you are referring to. I see that the requested changes were made months ago. The Wayspot now reflects the exact same title. This is why this edit was rejected.

Emily has greatly improved the QOL of explorers. That’s a very democratic assessment. You might have your apprehensions (and you are entitled to it) but that’s not the general consensus.
Do not do that. It may have negative repercussions on your account.

Speaking of plaques being spelt as plagues. That remind me of Ingress Intel Map (Woolwich Plague) which is on Blackfen Road near the 2012 Olympic Tree. Should be ‘plaque’ but is spelt incorrectly as ‘plague’.
