Like @hankwolfman I also hope this will be overturned if the OP has been able to demonstrate satisfactorily that they did take the photos. And language that you can’t use these same photos other places does need to be added where submitters will see it.
I stand corrected, thanks for finding it. My point still stands about getting it added to the guidance on the website and/or in game.

We try to be a helpful bunch around here and like I said, hopefully what I put will lead to some positive changes going forward
It seems like this is the consensus of many who have been submitting for years, quit submitting to avoid bans. I just got on the forum for the first time yesterday for a similar issue, been playing and submitting nominations on and off since 2014. I only got the warning but am now afraid of the ban if I make another mistake. It’s pretty disheartening since it was actually getting me out in the sunshine exploring during a depressing period of life.
I understand why the moderators and the ones who make the final decisions have to be harsh. I am sure they are getting way more submissions than they can keep up with, but it is still pretty disappointing as a longtime player. As an amateur photographer myself, great pictures!
