To me it seems under gated community. It still seems accesible to authorized personel in there. Wayspot doesnt need to be accesible to every pedestrian.

This Gym doesn’t meet our requirements for removal.
Not a good idea. Please note that attempting to get a Wayspot removed on false pretenses to manipulate the gameboard is considered a serious abuse and may lead to permanent termination of your accounts.

Appreciate the reply, and apologies if any part of my post came across as an attempt to manipulate the gameboard. I was genuinely curious, as the infrastructure has changed since this waypoint was originally created. With the addition of fences and the fact that the road is designed for vehicles rather than pedestrians, wondering whether this gym now falls under the criteria for unsafe access—especially since the interpretation of that criteria can seem somewhat subjective.
Unsure if you are able to provide more detail on what qualifies as “unsafe access”?
Specifically for this gym, does the lack of safe pedestrian pathways and the absence of direct access not constitute unsafe access?
Yes you are correct, sadly there are no pedestrian walk and these roads are for cars. If you are talking about the small building right next to it - I also have no idea what the building is, but as it is fenced together with the water tank, we just assume it’s some control / machinery room.
Yep this is a university campus. Pedestrians don’t really walk this specific road as walking through the main building is preferred and easier. This road is mainly used by cars for parking at the side and travelling to get to the other half of the faculty.
While we understand your disappointment about the location of this Gym, based on our research, it is located at a safe location and does not require any adjustments at this time.

If you think that university personnel would not want this gym here, you can make them aware of it. Niantic will honor property owner/manager requests if it comes from someone with the proper credentials.
I requested removal of 2 stops in a park near me. They were of small statues that apparently were in the park at one time, but they’d been removed long before I started walking there. I asked that the stops be removed because if I or anyone were tasked to scan one as a research task, it couldn’t be done. I was nervous about asking for removal of 2 stops for the same reason, but both were removed within a couple of weeks.
