Since the apartment complex was approved for WAYSPOT, I applied for removal as it constituted a private residence, which was denied. On the other hand, can I assume that an apartment complex is eligible to apply?
An apartment complex does not meet Niantic’s rejection or removal criteria for private property - Niantic only defines that as single family private residential property.
But also they aren’t really eligible.

Apartment complexes themselves are not eligible, but there may be other things there that are eligible, such as playgrounds, picnic areas, dog parks, etc.
Unfortunately, removal criteria is more limited, and even though an apartment complex by itself isn’t eligible, it also cannot be removed as it most likely doesn’t meet any of the removal criteria.
