Appeal against the removal of 6 painted electricity boxes

In the last few days, 6 wayspots have been deleted in Stuhr, Germany. These are currently still in place, do not obstruct any emergency routes, are on public land and can be reached on foot. Cycle route signs with themed cycle routes were removed months ago in this town. We ask you to check the situation to see to what extent abusive reports have led to the deletions and to restore the wayspots.

Here is the newspaper article on the creation of the electricity boxes:

The following wayspots have been deleted:

  • Wayspot Title: Grafik auf Stromkasten / Gengar
(At some point there was a title change)
  • Location (lat/lon): 52.992384, 8.764292
    Google Maps
  • City: Stuhr
  • Country: Germany
  • Scanlink: Gengar - @pet1001 on Scaniverse

Thanks for your work

Thanks for the appeal, @pet1001. After reviewing the additional evidence, we’ve restored 5 Wayspots in question. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot “Grafik auf Stromkasten” as it doesn’t meet our criteria at this time.
